Bunnybee was one of my oldest character I created in Children’s book class in college. Since I created the character, I had had developed it in many different forms such as animation, illustration and products. Bunnybee concept was same and color was flexible depends on projects.

When the publisher asked to work on my bunny characters, I suggested Bunnybee instead. After choosing a main character, I first develop the character’s characteristics I can develop into a story such as Bunnybee’s background, where does he lives, what he like. Also, I had to decide what color it will be.

DIY Paper Bunnybee Field Set is a complimentary gift for the first edition of Bunnybee. The set is printed on a 11 3/4” x 8 1/4” cuttable paper. It included main characters, a field, flowers, a trophy, flags, and billboards. After the book, children can apply their own Honey Drinking Game.

My publisher and I launched a drawing contest from May 1st to 6th 2020. The left video is an contest announcement video. I created a simple Bunnybee drawing to make it easy for all age. Above drawings are from participants. Participants uploaded their unique Bunnybee drawings with the hashtag #버니비그리기대회 on IG.

On May 14th 2020, I had a book launch event on IG Live. I drew 20 requested drawings in 40mins and had fun opened book quizs for 10mins. In addition, we made extra 10mins to show the original arts.
